Dd Mau Vietnamese Eatery

Hearty, healthy, delicious and vegan!! What more can I say? I have been eating out for many days and was looking for healthy, fibre rich food, and found just the right place! They have more vegan options than most other restaurants in St Louis. Had the best pho since i moved from the DC area. Huge portion size! Strongly recommend the vegan lemon grass veggie pho. They customized it for me - substituted the tofu with veggies. There was a lot of mushrooms, which isn't my favourite, but that's a personal preference. Fast and friendly service. Nice ambience for a casual dinner with friends or easygoing dates.

We have been eating at DD Mau since their original Webster Groves location first opened. We were so excited when we first learned they were moving to a new location right up the street from us! The new space is amazing, lots of seating and natural light. As always, the food is delicious. It's always so fresh and flavorful. I've had pretty much everything on the menu and it's all fantastic, but today I got the vermicelli bowl with shrimp and the creamy sweet chili sauce with a pork egg roll, plus a brown sugar boba tea. My partner got the tofu bahn mi with the spicy dd sauce, plus the sesame balls.

Big open space with lots of seating. It’s right on Big Bend along the Webster shopping (great location). Food is served fast and everything is super fresh with bright Vietnamese flavors. We had the chicken pho and vermicelli with coconut shrimp and grilled pork. Everything was so good! On a cold day the pho was fabulous. I really enjoyed the pork which was grilled perfectly and packed with flavor. Nice fried spring rolls too… My only complaint is the music was really loud and it was hard to hear each other talking. Otherwise had a great experience!

Tasty fast casual, relatively healthy options, busy area. We've been coming to DD Mau for the past two years. Our two go-to items are the chicken rice bowl and the tofu bao sliders, but we also love the vegan pho (spicy lemongrass is best!). We recommend this local gem! Minor comments and criticisms: The chicken sometimes has bits of bone in it. It's good to know it's freshly processed, but some quality control is needed. The new restaurant is very nice and has good vibes, but the parking lot is tight and difficult to maneuver when busy. Takeout packaging is high quality and items are always neatly bagged. However, while the sauce packets are a nice touch for take-out, it would be better to have sauce cups for eating at the restaurant.

Grabbed a quick bite at DD Mau on a chilly Saturday night. We got the pork bao buns, chicken pho, salmon vermicelli bowl and brown sugar boba tea. The bao buns and pho are a must! Super casual eatery with indoor seating as well as an outdoor patio. The line was almost out the door and our food still came out within 10 minutes of ordering. Will be back again to try more items. DD Mau has clean and simple flavors, but done right!

This review is about the new location. The food is exactly the same as before - delicious. They have their very own parking lot which is a huge improvement. The inside is light, lovely and spacious. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. They can easily accommodate larger groups of 8-10. There are a lot of tables, so you don’t have to worry about finding a seat. Currently, there are comfy chairs by the front door so you can wait for your to-go order, or just drop by to sip some boba while you’re out shopping in the area.
